Ken D. Haynes, MSHA, MBA, FACHE, is enterprise executive vice president and president of the Greater Charlotte Region for Atrium Health, one of the largest non-profit and leading academic health systems in the United States.

With over 30 years of experience, Haynes joined Atrium Health in 2017. Previously, Haynes served as president and CEO for CHRISTUS Health’s Santa Rosa Hospital System in San Antonio, Texas, where he oversaw five hospitals, including Children’s Hospital of San Antonio, a full-service academic hospital affiliated with Houston’s Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital also located in Houston.

Haynes currently serves as a member of the board of the North Carolina Healthcare Association (NCHA), Charlotte Regional Business Alliance, Student Life Leadership Council and Carolina’s Center for Specialty Surgery. Haynes is the executive sponsor of the One Team One Mission System Resource Group supporting veterans at Atrium Health and serves as health advisory council for the board of Charlotte Christian School.
