We're very thankful to be a member of Hood Hargett Breakfast Club. Jenn worked diligently for 3 years in recruiting (her skills are impressive, want a job, ha ha) us and our membership. We knew we wanted to be a member however the timing was not quiet right for our business. Long story short and after many conversations with Jenn, we joined HHBC in September 2016. As we thought, our investment in the group has proven to be a great one! We've been introduced to so many community leaders, like minded individuals which is exactly who we want to surround ourselves with day in and day out. Success breeds success! Not only that, our membership enables us to entertain existing relationships, add value to their daily lives trough hearing the best motivational speakers and spending quality time together. At this point its hard to relay an exact ROI in HHBC but let's just say that in a short timeframe our investment in the group has paid for itself. We're looking forward to establishing new relationships and maintaining old ones with all members for many years to come.Jenn, thank you for all your hard in work making HHBC the premier group of Charlotte. We're honored to be a part of it!
The Hood Hargett Breakfast Club provided many great networking opportunities in 2012. We had the chance to network with many of the companies in the Club and through our networking we were able to do business with 11 different companies in the Small Business Vertical alone. We’ve made numerous business partner relationships which drove revenue for both parties involved. The event locations and speakers always made for a good experience for any business partners we invited. It was quite a treat to mingle with the renowned speakers that visited the Club and made for an entertaining experience every time as we did business. There are very few networking opportunities in the Charlotte market which allow us to hear from professional speakers AND do business at the same time. This is definitely one of the premier Clubs in the region for networking. Thank you Hood Hargett Breakfast Club!

After switching careers, from a kindergarten teacher to a young woman trying to start a business , I didn't know where to start. That was until I met Jenn Snyder and learned more about the Hood Hargett Breakfast Club. Within in 6 months of being a member, I have built amazing relationships and met great people. On top of those great things, the return on my investment has been profound and more than I the investment back by adding new clients to my business and those clients have referred me to even more new clients.
We’ve had quite a few visitors from the Hood Hargett Breakfast Club visit Classroom Central over the last 2 months. While everyone has been very interested and helpful, there is one group of visitors, that I wanted to share with you.
A group from Keffer Hyundai came to volunteer with us a few weeks ago. They took a tour before volunteering in our warehouse sorting donations. They have been back every week, taking on whatever volunteer opportunity that we need them for (and that in itself is just AWESOME) but they have also generously offered to help with our Mobile Free Store deliveries.
Our Mobile Free Store program came to be last year. Through it, we distribute an assortment of palletized schools supplies and incentives for outlying schools in all of the districts that we serve.
Unfortunately, we do not own a vehicle to transport the product, so we depend on a variety of businesses, organizations, and individuals (in and around the area) to get donations of supplies to schools we serve that may not be able to shop with us based on their school release time and distance. Last year alone, we were able to distribute over $350,000 in supplies through our Mobile Free Store. We will exceed $400,000 this year!
This Friday will be Keffer Hyundai’s “maiden voyage” for the Mobile Free Store and we couldn’t be more excited! None of this would have happened had we not been connected through the Hood Hargett Breakfast Club! Many Thanks Jenn!
When I owned and operated my own public relations company, several of my clients belonged to Hood Hargett Breakfast Club. I often would visit the breakfast meetings with one of those client members. It was easy to see the benefits of participating in such a dynamic networking event. When I signed on with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina in September 2010 to serve as director of Charlotte Community Relations, one of the first initiatives I undertook was to get BCBSNC a membership in HHBC. It has paid off handsomely. Our sales people really like meeting with the many representatives of mainly small- and medium-sized businesses in Greater Charlotte and learning more about their aspirations as well as their needs. And we always enjoy the top-notch speakers. We are very happy members of HHBC. Ellison Clary, Director of Charlotte Community Relations, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina
