Jenn talks with Scott Harris, Retiring Vice President, Business Development at Choate Construction and Board Member of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Foundation. Scott is a strong advocate of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Foundation. The CMPD Foundation invests in creating a safer community by supporting efforts to pilot new strategies and improve officer safety and effectiveness, while promoting trust in and support for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

Mr. Harris, also a member of the Hood Hargett Breakfast Club, played a crucial role in bringing the CMPD to the Breakfast Club, where we recognize some of Charlotte’s outstanding officers during the breakfast events. The Foundation focuses on improving CMPD morale, increasing employee health, safety and wellness and investing in recruitment and retention.
