Johnny Jennings has been Chief of Police of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department since July 2020. He has served the CMPD and the city of Charlotte for over 30 years and has a strong track record of being a forward-thinking and innovative leader within the organization. He will be retiring at the end of 2025 and discusses the arc of his career, as well as the accomplishments and challenges he faced during his time at CMPD, with Jenn.
