| Description | The Make-A-Wish Foundation is dedicated to granting the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. The wish of each child is different, reflecting the profound and personal sense of his or her own dreams. Whether the child wishes to visit with a favorite sports hero, have a computer or swing set, or spend several fun filled days at Disney World, Make-A-Wish does everything possible to ensure that the wish becomes a reality and the experience is one the family will remember and cherish. Thanks to the kind support from our donors, Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Central and Western NC has been able to grant more than 2, 000 wishes for children in central and western North Carolina since 1985. |
