CMC-Kannapolis, a new 24-hour emergency services center located at 2711 Lane St. in Kannapolis, will host an open house from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14.

CMC announces opening of CMC-Kannapolis, the new 24-hour emergency department that opens for patients Monday, January 16.

Location – 2711 Lane St. in Kannapolis, just off I-85 at Exit 63

Size – 26,385 square feet

Cost – $17 million

Services available on site

• 24-hour emergency services with physicians who are board-certified in emergency medicine
• 10 treatment rooms
• two private observation rooms for monitoring patients
• complete laboratory services
• diagnostic imaging including a CT scanner, ultrasound and digital X-ray
• rapid triage, with bedside registration for convenience and privacy
• emergency transportation by ambulance for patients who need hospital admission
• electronic medial records for more convenient, easier access for patients
